Big Aleksander Dimitrenko won the vacant EBU heavyweight title with a onesided tko win in five rounds over Yaroslav Zavorotny, who covered up well for four rounds but did only that. In the fifth Dimitrenko broke through and floored his outclassed opponent. Moments later the towel came in.
Dimitrenko is now 30-1 and have Audley Harrison as mandatory challenger.
Sebastian Zbik retained the WBC interim title with a clear points win over Argentinian Sebastian Heiland. It was scored 117-111 twice and 116-112 (announced as 116-111). Zbik controlled the action most of the way but couldn´t his very game and agressive opponent, who kept coming the entire fight.
