Former IBF middleweight champ Sebastian Sylvester, 34-4-1, returns October 1 in Neubrandenburg on a Sauerland promotion with a fight for the vacant EBU title against Pole Grzegorz Proksa, 25-0.
The two will battle it out in Sylvester´s “livingroom”, the Jahnsport Forum where Sebastian enjoys a big fan support. Proksa, promoted by Matchroom, have previously held the EU crown but never fought at the level that Sylvester has but while untested he´s also fresh and on the way up.
The winner of this fight will have ex-WBC titleholder Sebastian Zbik as mandatory challenger.
The EBU title was left vacant by Darren Barker.
