Russian heavy Alexander Povetkin, 16-0, ”tunes up” for his upcoming fight against IBF and WBO champ Wladimir Klitschko April 4 in Duesseldorf when he takes on American Jason Estrada, 15-1. It will be first fight for Alexander since injuring his leg this past fall when in training for a fight against Klitschko set for December 08.
WBC Youth welter ruler Oliver Guettel will now defend the title against fellow German Daniel Zell February 27 in Aschersleben. It´s the third change of opponent for Guettel. Slovenian welter Jan Zaveck is off the bill due to illness but is replaced by cruiser Serdar Sahin.
