Sauerland´s undefeated and world ranked Bulgarian heavyweight Kubrat Pulev will now take on Ukrainan Maksim Pediyura July 16 in Munich. If all goes well Pulev is scheduled to take on Martin Rogan for the vacant EU title October 22 in Germany.
Silvio Branco´s late withdrawal from the fight against EBU cruiser king Alexander Frenkel have paved the way for an internal Sauerland eliminator with Frenkel now to defend the title against Enad Licina. The EBU have set deadline for purse bids or contracts for July 28. Frenkel vs Licina is an interesting matchup and the winner is likely to get a world title shot in this division more or less controlled by Sauerland.
Newly crowned EU jr welter champ Vittorio Oi will have to give ex-ruler Ville Piispanen a re-match. Oi won a controversial technical decision the first time around but Piispanen and his promoter Pekka Maeki protested to the EBU and while Oi is allowed a voluntary defence he will have to make his first mandatory defence against Piispanen.
IBF welter king Jan Zaveck now have his green card in order and will according to SES defend the title against Andre Berto somewhere in the USA September 3.
French jr middle Michel Soro take on David Makaradze for the vacant WBO European title July 29 in Lyon. Soro is promoted by Asventure and Tundra.
