It´s official: In a press release in German Sauerland Event announce that WBO cruiser champ Marco Huck will defend the title against former WBA lightheavy ruler Hugo Hernan Garay July 16 in Munich.
Also on is heavyweight Robert Helenius vs Sergey Lyakhovich.
This show was first set for June 25 and was also to have featured a unification fight at cruiser with WBA cruiser champ Guillermo Jones taking on interim ruler Yoan Pablo Hernandez but that is now off.
Other German news: Arena Box Promotion stage a show in Goeppingen the day – July 15 - before with former WBA cruiser champ Firat Arslan taking on Czech Lubos Suda in the main event. Suda beat Arslan back in 2003 when Firat was a freelancer forced to travel while Suda had solid backing at home in the Czech Republic.
WBA standard middleweight champ Gennadyi Golovkin have reached an out of court agreement with Universum and they have agreed that the contract expires at the latest November 21, 2011.
