The purse bids for EBU heavyweight champ Alexander Dimitrenko´s mandatory defence against the Nordic Nightmare, Robert Helenius have been postponed from October 31 to November 7. Helenius co-headlines Sauerland´s big show at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki December 3 and of the names that is mentioned is Kevin Johnson. It will be a defence of Helenius´ WBA and WBO I/C titles. As for Dimitrenko there is reportedly a shoulder injury and the champ is said to need surgery to correct the problem. A Dimitrenko vs Helenius matchup is would effectively also be a world title eliminator but it´s not likely that Alexander and Universum would risk it all after all this time so look for Helenius to fight the highest available challenger for the vacant title sometime early in 2012 with Dimitrenko concentrating on a world title shot.
