German heavy Michael Wallish have been pulled out by his promoter – EC Box Promotion in Hamburg – of the fight for the vacant EU title against Brit Richard Towers June 16 in Manchester. It appears that Wallisch simply have disappeared from training camp.
In comes instead Frenchman Gregory Tony, who also doubles with success in Martial Arts. Tony was stopped by Robert Helenius in a previous attempt to win this title.
Also on this bill is Sergey Rabchenka vs Ryan Rhodes in a fight for the EBU jr middle title.
