Heavyweights Janne Katajisto, the Finnish Butterbean, and Latvian Pavels Dolgovs drew over eight Saturday night in Kankanpaa, Finland, in a fight for the vacant Baltic Boxing Union title.
The scoring was a bit extraordinary as one judge had it 79-74 Katajisto, another 80-73 for Dolgovs with a third vote at 78-78 or two rounds each with four rounds even.
Katajisto will next fight cruiser, up from lightheavy, Petter Antman for the vacant Finnish heavyweight title in September. The still vacant BBU crown is also at stake.
Antman beat Mareks Kovalevskis over four on the undercard.
Estonian supermiddle Anton Sjomkin stopped Jevgenijs Kiselevs in the third scoring three knockdowns in the process.
Middleweight Timo Laine, boxer and model, outscored Dmitry Pankratov over four.
The show was supervised by the Latvian Federation.
