Italian veteran Giuseppe Lauri – these days based in Budapest where he also is a trainer, manager and even promoter – face Michele Di Rocco for the vacant EU jr welter title April 14 on a OPI 2000 promotion in Vicenza.
This is a rematch and Lauri beat the former amateur star – quarter finalist in the 04 Olympics – on a tko back in 2007. But time flies and the someone faded Lauri is up against it this time.
On the undercard female star Simona Galassi take on Renata Szebeledi from Hungary and Devis Boschiero, official challenger for the EBU jr lightweight title, tunes up against Istvan Kiss.
