WBC cruiser champ Giacobbe Fragomeni´s defence against Pole Krzysztof Wlodarczyk is off and have a new proposed date for May 15 or 16. Wlodarczyk´s promoter Bullit Knockout are trying to get the WBC to approve a fight for the interim title with Czech Rudolf Kraj as opponent for Wlodarczyk. At first Fragomeni-Wlodarczyk had March 27 as working date but was then moved to April.
 
Former WBO lightweight and jr welter champ and Olympic gold medalist Giovanni Parisi was tragically killed in a car accident March 25. Parisi, age 42, fought professionally from 89 through 06 with a 41-5-1 record.
 
EBU welter champ Rafael Jackiewicz from Poland have Belgian Jackson Osei Bonsu as mandatory challenger but it´s a fight that is not very likely to happen. The champion is looking for a IBF eliminator, possibly against South African Isaac Hlatswayo while Jackson is looking for a possible opponent for the second of the two eliminators ordered by the WBC. Osei Bonsu first lost the EBU title to Jackiewicz in a big upset, then still got to fight in a WBC eliminator against Carlos Baldomir, won, but have to fight another (and win) to get to the mandatory challenger spot.
 
WBA lightfly champ Brahim Asloum will return to action April 27 in Cannet in a ten-round non-title fight. The opponent have yet to be announced. The fight will be televised on a PPV basis through brahimasloum.com
 
Danish supermiddle Mads Larsen have told Sauerland Event that it´s a fight against compatriot and WBA champ Mikkel Kessler that matters and nothing else
