Jr middle “Golden” Jack Culcay won the vacant WBA I/C title with a third round stoppage of Frenchman Frederic Serre, who was ruled out due to a bad gash over his left eye and it was ruled a legal punch had caused the injury. However, it seemed to many that it was an accidental clash of heads that caused the cut. After a tense opener both went to work with Serre coming forward in a busy, messy fight. Early in the third Serre came out of an infight complaining to Culcay who shrugged his shoulders and then the referee called a halt to the action and there was a long timeout. Serre was allowed to continue but after what indeed was a clash of heads the Frenchman seemed to turn away from the action and shortly thereafter it was stopped at 2.05.

Undefeated lightheavy Dustin Dirks stopped Czech journeyman Sandro Siproshvili at 2.05 of the seventh when Sandro, tired, punched out and badly cut, told his corner to throw in the towel. Thus it all went as expected with Dirks now 25-0 (19). However, Siproshvili had before that outworked the German and not only that, Dirks was badly stunned in the fifth and for almost two minutes Siprosvili poured it on with Dirks barely able to even to cover up. It must have been close to being stopped but Dustin came back and Sandro was a spent force at the end of the round. After six the judges had it 58-56 twice for Dirks and 57-57 – all scores that was generous towards Dirks, who simply allowed himself to be outworked until hurt in the fifth. From the last minute of the fifth and onwards he dominated the fight though.

Lightheavy Robin Krasniqi retained the WBO Int´l title with a fourth round stoppage of Serdar Sahin. Krasniqi quickly established his right upercut and floored Sahin in the first. Serdar, down from cruiser, got closer in the second and third but all the power punches came from Krasniqi. Early in the fourth Krasniqi opened up and scored with a right upercut, then a jab and a final right upercut and Sahin went down again. He was up before ten but was on unsteady legs and it was stopped 46 seconds into the round. Robin, well, real name is Haxi and that was his many fans screamed, is now 38-2 while Sahin, formerly with SES but now a freelancer, lost for the first time in 21 fights.

Stylish German jr welter Felix Lamm opened Sauerland´s and SES´s big show at the O2 Arena with a fourth round stoppage of Spaniard Eloy Rebollo. Rebollo was floored twice and the towel came in as Lamm poured it on with Rebollo against the ropes.

Lightheavy Tyron Zeuge stopped Carlos Caicedo in the third. Zeuge fights ortodox but was in a southpaw stance when he hit Carlos with a right and then a powerful left hook. Caicedo, based in Spain but from Ecuador, went down against the ropes, made it up at “9,5” but it was correctly called off.
