September 24, Hamburg, Germany:Big Alexander Dimitrenko retained the EBU heavyweight title with a unanimous decision over British challenger Michael Sprott in the headliner of Universum´s show at the DIMA Sportcenter. It was scored 116-111,119-108 and 117-111. Sprott had two points deducted, one early in the tenth for punching after the bell ending the ninth and another in the last for pushing.
