Newly crowned EBU lightheavy champ Eduard Gutknecht´s defence July 16 in Munich will be against Italian veteran Lorenzo Di Giacomo.
Di Giacomo, 41-4-1, have been around a long time, held various titles at jr middle and middleweight, challenged unsuccessfully twice for the EBU middleweight belt and looks like a safe first – voluntary – defence for Gutknecht, 21-1.
Headlining the show is Marco Huck defending the WBO cruiser title against former WBA lightheavy king Hugo Hernan Garay.
