The rumors are true. Former IBF middleweight champ Arthur Abraham and unsuccessfull Super Six participant is indeed planning to return to middleweight after losing three out of five fights at supermiddle.
It won´t be done overnight though and the plan for Arthur is to have a few fights above the 160 lb limit but below 168 before going after any titles.
Abraham was indeed a very strong, hard punching middleweight but he also had problems for a long time making the weight and it wasn´t the best kept secret that he was somewhat ill disciplined in his diet and training.
For my money Abraham could very well had campaigned at supermiddle had he only learned how to fight as a shorter man against taller opponents.
