WBA standard middleweight champ Gennadyi Golovkin and his team have offered newly crowned IBF king Daniel Geale substantial payday for a unification fight.
Golovkin must of course first defend the title June 17 against Kassim Ouma but his promotional team says he will be ready for a showdown against Geale September in Kazachstan.
As for Golovkin vs Hassan N´Dam, the WBA interim ruler, this fight would then happen after the fight against Geale.
Should Golovkin vs Geale happen and not end in a draw then the WBA could end up with two superchamps in the same weight division – and one interim ruler.
