The fight is not officially confirmed but word is that former WBA heavyweight champ Ruslan Chagaev, 28-2-1, will take on American veteran Billy “the Kid” Zumbrun in a non-title encounter on Saturday (April 21) in Schwerin on Universum´s big show headed by Balzsay vs Sartison.
The 33-year old Chagaev lost a close decision to Alexander Povetkin in a fight for the WBA regular title last year and looking to get back into the picture. He beat Kertson Manswell in January and by keeping busy he will remain in the ratings.
