Several German sources reports that WBA superchamp at middleweight Felix Sturm is having talks with newly crowned IBO king Avantandil Khurtside about a showdown in June. Khurtside won the title last night in the Republic of Georgia with a points win over Mariusz Cendrowski but have previously lost a close call to WBA regular champ Hassan N´Dam in France.
 
Leonard Bundu and Rafael Jackiewicz are co-challengers for the vacant EBU welter title. The EBU have set March 28 as deadline for purse bids or agreement. The title was relinquished by Matt Hatton.
 
German lightheavy Artur Hein now have Frenchman Tony Averlant as co-challenger for the vacant EU title. Hein vs Averlant goes ahead April 2 in Halle / Westfalen on the undercard to Huck vs Fragomeni. Averlant steps in for Italian Francesco Versaci.
 
French bantam – fighting out of Luxembourg – Karim Guerfi, 16-0, have a spot on the undercard to Concepcion vs Marquez in Panama City April 2. Guerfi previously held the IBF Youth title at flyweight.
 
Carlos Takam, 22-1, from Cameroons but fighting out of France, and Gbenga Oloukun, 18-5, from Nigeria but based in Germany, clash for the vacant WBO African heavyweight title April 29 in Pontault-Combault, France.
 
“I wuz robbed” says Swedish-Ugandan jr welter Sam Rukundo after losing a majority decision to Viktor Postol on the undercard to Khurtside vs Cendrowski. Sam, 15-4-1, have now suffered four tough losses on the road. -I don´t count this as a loss though, says Sam. -My day will come and will keep fighting!
 
WBA, WBC and WBO female welter champ Cecilia Braekhus defends her titles against American Jill Emery April 2 in Herning, Denmark.
