Jr middles Jackson Osei Bonsu, 42-5-1, and Jimmy Colas, 31-8, clash for the vacant EU title September 21 in the co-headliner to Said Ouali vs Karlo Tabaghua for the IBF I/C welterweight belt. The show goes ahead at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp with the BFN Group promoting it.
Both Osei Bonsu and Colas are at the veteran stage of their respective careers and while Jackson did beat Colas in their first meeting he appears to have increasing problems with his chin and some have called for his retirement. while Jimmy comes in off a fine stoppage win over the capable Franck Harroche Horta to win the French title.
