Mohamed Ali Ndiaye, 23-1-1, and Frenchman Christopher Rebrasse, 20-2-3, fought to a controversial draw last night in Brindisi in a fight for the vacant EBU supermiddle title on this OPI 2000 promotion. At the end the judges had 118-111 for Rebrasse, 115-114 for Ndiaye and 114-114. French sources decsribe it as a clear win for Rebrasse.
 
In a fight for the vacant EBU lightweight title saw Michele Di Rocco, 35-1-1, win a close, unanimous decision over Englishman Lenny Daws, 25-3-2. It was scored 115-113 twice and 116-112.

WBO supermiddle champ Robert Stieglitz, recently named BDB fighter of the year, will defend the title July 13 at the EnergieVerbund Arena in Dresden on a big SES promotion. The opponent for Stieglitz is likely to be announced at a press conference on Wednesday.
 
Also on the bill is Lukas Konecny defending the WBO European title and SES´ female champs Ramona Kuehne and Christina Hammer will also defend their respective titles.
 
This show is the first for SES with its new network partner SAT.1.
 
Earlier in the week SES had to pospone their planned June 14 show in Weissenfels due to the floodings in this part of Germany.

Hungarian Felix-Promotion stage a show June 15 in Szeghalom topped by superbantam Zsolt Bedak, who will take on Nicaraguan Michael Isaac Corrales. Bedak, 17-1, beat Abner Mares in the 04 Olympics and a second time as well but as a pro Mares have been a little more successful.
 
Jr middle Attila Kovacs, 29,4 and a former IBO champ, will take on Medrano Joaquin Santos, also from Nicaragua, in the co-feature.
 
The undercard features two interesting newcomers in middleweight Arpad Klasz, 3-0, and supermiddle Richard Baranyi, 1-0.

Former WBA lightheavy champ Gabriel Campillo, 21-5-1, returns to action June 14 in Sedavi, Spain, against capable Romanian journeyman Ionut Trandafir Ilie, record unknown, This will be Campillo´s first fight since the stoppage loss to Sergey Kovalev. If all goes well, the plan is to have Campillo take on Andrzej Fonfara August 16 in Chicago in a IBF eliminator.

Former EBU superbantam champ Kiko Martinez, 28-4-1, take on Venezuelan Franklin Varela July 20 in Alicante, Spain, where Kiko began his procareer. Martinez vs Varela is for the WBC Latin super bantam title.
 
Martinez was stopped by Carl Frampton in nine in February in a EBU and IBF I/C title fight at superbantam.
