Spanish website espabox.com writes that it will be veteran and Spanish champ Pablo Navascues that challenge IBF middleweight king Sebastian Sylvester January 30 in Neubrandenburg. Navascues is not ranked by the IBF, at least not yet in the November ratings. What makes Pablo marketable in Germany is his draw with Spanish great Javier Castillejo, who stopped Felix Sturm and later lost to Sturm in a rematch and then to Sylvester. The fight is not confimed by Sauerland Event.
Thierry Karl and Djamel Selini, two experienced, good but not top class fighters, clash in the finals of the French “Le Grande Tournoi” over ten December 10 in Paris. Also on the bill are middleweight Hassan N´Dam N´Jikam, jr middle Husseyn Bayram, superbantam Ali Hallab and middlweight Rachid Jkitou.
Spanish lightheavy Alejandro Lakatus returns December 20 in Madrid after a little over a year out since his latest comeback. Lakatus challenged at one time both Dariusz Michalczewski and Zsolt Erdei for the WBO title, lost but gave both champ all they could handle.
correction: German jr middle Frank Shabani is not the last fighter in Sauerland Event below middleweight. Fact is, he´s no longer with Sauerland Event. In the team remains of course Alexander Abraham, reigning EU champ, Koko Murat and Nick Klappert – all jr middles. Shabani challenges WBA I/C champ Zauerbek Baysangurov December 19 in Kiev.

Belgian-based Ukrainian heavyweight Oleg Platov was left without fight on Saturday in Ludwigsburg when Cengiz Koc pulled out.
