The always well informed tabloid Bild Zeitung writes that WBO supermiddle king Robert Stieglitz will take on Arthur Abraham Aug 25 on a Sauerland promotion. Where this exciting showdown will take place isn´t announced yet.
Stieglitz was first to face Mikkel Kessler but the fight was postponed twice due to the Viking Warrior breaking a finger and then cancelled. He was then to defend the title against George Groves, who also pulled out with injury.
Robert thus had relatively easy defences during the past season first against the brave but outclassed Henry Weber and this past weekend against Nader Hamdan.
Abraham flopped in the Super Six tournament with three straight losses but looked pretty strong in beating Piotr Wilczewski last time out in a WBO eliminator.
