Former IBF middleweight champ Arthur Abraham headlines a Sauerland promotion at the Sparkasse Arena in Kiel in the north of Germany March 31. It appears that Abraham have given up hope to go down to middleweight and will continue as a supermiddle where he unsuccessfully participated in the Super Six Tournament.
Who Abraham will fight is not ready get but in the press release from Sauerland it´s claimed that this will be a final test before gunning for a world title shot.
The original plan was to have Robert Helenius defending the EBU heavyweight title against Aleksander Dimitrenko on this date but Robert is injured and it´s still not clear if Dimitrenko will go for the now vacant EBU crown against Kubrat Pulev.
Sauerland won purse bids though and Dimitrenko is still not officially out of the fight even if it´s likely that he will pull out.
