WBA middle champ Felix Sturm take on current EBU titleholder Khoren Gevor July 11 at the Nuerburgring Formule I Arena. Both men are promoted by Universum. On paper the stylish Sturm is a big favourite but Gevor showed he´s an underestimated force when he lost to Arthur Abraham and in the win against Finn Amin Asikainen and I would say he´s in with a good chance. In the co-headliner Sebastian Zbik and Domenico Spada fight for the WBC interim middlweight title.
The Jackson Osei Bonsu – Selcuk Aydin fight July 11 in Turkey is close to be made but is depending on if Aydin will be named mandatory challenger by the EBU for the vacant title. As it is now Italian veteran Gianluca Branco is co-challenger along with Jackson.
Ex-heavy champ Lamon Brewster fights on the undercard to Valuev vs Chagaev in Helsinki May 30. The fact that Finnish star Amin Asikainen is not on the bill is reportedly due to a persistent footinjury.
Retired German heavy star Axel Schulz will be doing color commentary for DSF May 15 in Magdeburg when WBF heavyweight champ Francois Botha defends the title against Timo Hoffmann. On the undercard former EBU welter king Jan Zaveck returns along with Esther Schouten, Oliver Guettel and Tommy Altmann.

Commonwealth champ Martin Rogan is co-challenger along with Ukraine´s Aleksander Dimitrenko for the vacant EBU heavyweight title. The EBU have set May 22 as deadline for pursebids or agreements.
