Step two in former WBA superbantam champ Mahyar Monshipour´s comeback goes ahead on Saturday January 24 in Pau when Monshipour, now down to bantam, face Brit Sean Hughes. Chief sparring Daniel Kodjo Sassou takes on Zsolt Nagy. Both fights are scheduled for ten.
Former EBU middle champ Amin Asikainen, 25-2, plans to continue his career. Asikainen suffered an upset tko loss to Khoren Gevor in front of his homecrowd in Helsinki last time out and took some time off to ponder the future. Amin might move up to supermiddle but it´s not certain yet.

Jr welter Ali Chusseinov have tested positive to an illegal substance after beating Bihes Barakat in a IBF Youth title fight in December in Berlin. Chusseinov. licensed by the GBA in Germany, is now suspended for 12 months and his planned US debut is off.
