Lightheavies and former world champs Zsolt Erdei and Byron Mitchell clash in a supporting bout to Carl Froch vs Glenn Johnson June 4 in Atlantic City. It´s a non-title fight scheduled for 12 rounds. -It´s a fight against a well known opponent on a big show and a good date to set things up for Zsolt top challenge for a world title later in the year, states manager Christof Hawerkamp.
Erdei have been in training camp in March on high altitude along with Vitali Klitschko and trainer Fritz Sdunek in Kitzbuhl, Austria, and is now preparing himself in Budapest. Next week Erdei will move training camp to Hamburg and travel to the US the second week of May.
Las Vegas-based Swedish lightheavy Badou Jack is also on the June 4 bill.
