Sauerland have January 2012 as working date for Aleksander Alekseev vs Enad Licina with the vacant EBU cruiser title at stake. Alekseev is promoted by EC Box Promotion and if he wins Sauerland lose a little bit of their firm control of the cruiserweights.
Fomer WBC middleweight ruler Sebastian Zbik is now mandatory challenger for newly crowned EBU king Grzegorz Proksa. The parties involved are in negotiations and there´s no deadline for purse bids or agreement set yet..
WBA; WBC and WBO female welter champ Cecilia Braekhus defends her titles against Ku´ulei Kupihea December 3 in Helsinki in a supporting bout to Povetkin vs Boswell and Helenius vs tba. This fight was first on for November 5 and the undercard to Stieglitz vs Kessler in Copenhagen but fell through when Kessler got injured.
Italian heavies Matteo Modugno and Paolo Vidoz clash for the national title December 16 in Rezzato. This is a Boxe Loreni promotion and for Vidoz, a former two-time EBU champ, it´s his last chance.
Danish veteran Christian Bladt takes on Canadian prospect Kevin Bizier November 5 in Quebec on the undercard to Bute vs Johnson. Bizier is unbeaten in 15 while Bladt was knocked out by Sasha Yengoyan in his last fight.
EBU female lightweight champ Delfine Persoon headlines the annual show in Izegem, Belgium, November 1. Persoon takes on Myriam Delall in a voluntary defence of the title. Hardpunching welter Sasha Yengoyan is featured on the undercard.

WBO cruiser champ Marco Huck have talked about moving up to heavyweight but there are plenty of good fights from German-based fighters for him at cruiser and one of them would be against Rachim Chakiev, who in a press release from Universum claims he would knock Huck out. Another good challenger also based in Hamburg is Alexander Alexeev and outside of that there´s Yoan Pablo Hernandez and last but not least Steve Cunningham, who´s promoted by Sauerland and is the only man to beat Huck this far.
